  I suspect WTower never planned for this to get out, they thought it would be secret.
  in the past it was easier to keep secrets and the Borg worked like that, everything confidential and secrecy was successful
  these days the internet changed everything and now what used to be easy to keep confidential is very difficult or even impossible
  now that all this is getting out there the Borg may decide to move him again to another safe house

  I'm happy that the internet has finally exposed the corrupt Jehovah's Witness Society.

  I know that anyone can get records at their local County Office on divorces, marriages, home owner deeds/addresses, bankruptcies and lawsuits. I'm not happy that someone's home address is readily available and thrown around on the internet. Mr. Morris and his wife have the right to privacy and the enjoyment of their home. No one needs people driving around and taking photos and videos of Mr. Morris walking on his property or getting in his car. That to me is stalking!

  Just shows to me that people living six decades ago were a much hardier stock than the wimps today.

  Here is my wimp story:

  Our congregation was assigned Milwaukee County Stadium for our 1975 four day summer convention. Our congregation was 90 miles away from Milwaukee, located on the north side of Chicago.

  Some congregation members stayed at Milwaukee hotels for the four day convention. Since my parents and some congregation members were either too cheap/ or didn't have the means to pay for hotels and meals, they decided to charter a bus to Milwaukee for the four days. The chartered bus picked us up at 7.a.m. every morning at our Chicago Kingdom Hall. It was a 2 hour drive to Milwaukee. The starting time for the 4 day Assembly was at 9:45 a.m. .

  Since the bus arrived around 9 a.m. each morning in Milwaukee, all seats that were shaded/partly shaded or had a cover from the blazing sun in the middle of July were all taken. We had no choice but to sit on the outfield seats ( which were in full sun, all day long). Imagine sitting in the blazing sun all day long with a jacket/ tie or mothers having to take care of small children in the oppressive heat. Talk about sunstroke!

  The convention meetings ended around 5 p.m. We would get back on the chartered bus around 6 p.m. and drove back to Chicago for another 2 hour drive. It would be around 8:30 p.m. each night that we would arrive back home. We ate dinner around 8:30 p.m., went to bed, and did the same routine for the next 3 days.

  It's sad how the Watchtower Society has treated their faithful members since it's founding in the late 1880's!

  Here we have the 1963 Twickeham Assembly, where 30 thousand members suffer 8 full days of hot sun, lunch served military style, sleeping in tents, bathing, cleaning and bathroom breaks ( who knows where ), mothers contending with nursing, feeding and changing little babies, no air-conditioning, long wait times to enter and leave the grounds...

  What have we ( all who have slaved for the Society) gotten in return? Lies, pedophile lawsuits, downsizing and selling of Kingdom Halls and broken promises!

  Rely on Jehovah, as Samson Did

  7 Many brothers and sisters who are involved in theocratic construction projects have shown trust in Jehovah. In the past, brothers usually designed and constructed most new Kingdom Halls and other buildings. Eventually, though, the needs of Jehovah’s growing organization called for an adjustment. The responsible brothers sought Jehovah’s direction and tried new methods, such as purchasing facilities and renovating them. “At first, it was not easy for some to embrace this new approach,” says Robert, who in recent years has worked with many of our building projects around the world. He continues: “It was very different from what we had been doing for years. But the brothers were willing to adapt, and it has become evident that Jehovah is blessing these adjustments.” This is just one example of how Jehovah is guiding his people to accomplish his will. From time to time, all of us do well to ask ourselves, ‘Am I looking for Jehovah’s direction and remaining adaptable in my service to him?’

  
  

  Robert ( who worked on the construction of new Kingdom Halls and other buildings) is now a renovation worker. Since the Watchtower Society is paying for too many pedophile lawsuits, they have no choice but to purchase older facilities and renovate them.

  Also, the paragraph forgets to mention Bethel layoffs and all non-essential branch projects were either cancelled or put on hold years ago. Watchtower Headquarters asked branches to sell as much equipment as they could liquidate.

  Why did God allow the Holocaust?

  God allowed the Holocaust for the same reason that he has permitted all human suffering: to settle moral issues that were raised long ago. The Bible clearly indicates that at present the Devil, not God, rules the world. (Luke 4:1, 2, 6; John 12:31) Two basic facts from the Bible can help explain why God allowed the Holocaust.

  1. God created humans with free will. God told the first humans, Adam and Eve, what he expected of them, but he did not force them to obey. They chose to decide for themselves what was good and bad, and their bad choice—and similar choices by people throughout history—has brought horrible consequences to mankind. (Genesis 2:17; 3:6; Romans 5:12) It is as the book Statement of Principles of Conservative Judaism says: “Much of the world’s suffering directly results from our misuse of the free will granted to us.” Rather than revoke our free will, God has given humans time to try to manage their affairs independent of him.

  2. God can and will undo all the damage of the Holocaust. God promises to bring back to life millions who have died, including Holocaust victims. He will also eliminate the pain that Holocaust survivors feel because of horrific memories. (Isaiah 65:17; Acts 24:15) God’s love for mankind guarantees that he will fulfill these promises.—John 3:16.

     The Bible characterizes Satan as a powerful spiritual being whose primary goal is to turn us away from God. The Bible says, “Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8).

     God ( in all his power and wisdom) somehow lets Satan cause disturbances in heaven, tempts Adam and Eve, Job, and Jesus. God allows Satan to rule the world so they can settle moral issues. Satan is even allowed to tempt humans after Armageddon. For some reason, he never goes away!

     My question ( I do not believe there is a Devil ) is: Why does God even allow ''free will'' and permits the Devil to ''rule the world,'' when ( with all his wisdom ) he knows both lead to human suffering? Why allow evil in the first place, and later ''guarantee'' the elimination of pain and death? What's the whole point?

  ..some don’t believe all the meetings and assemblies are necessary; they don’t want to spend time and money going there (getting an outfit/wear and tear and gas money on cars); some don’t want to expose themselves to germs; many are old and just don’t feel well and we all know that assemblies are an endurance test even for younger healthy people; maybe there is less tolerance for people in general, etc.

  Maybe many JWs just hanging on have grown weary of the religion (even without learning negative things about it). They like Zoom because it took a heavy load off them.

  I think the Zoom meetings has made many members realize how unimportant the meetings are. Too much wasted time and gas. Turn off your Zoom camera and pretend you're listening in.

  JWs unrecognisable compared to my grandfathers time

  my grandfather who has been dead for 37 years would not recognise the borganisation today.

  he would turn in his grave if he knew the end didn’t come by 2023.. back in the 1970s he really believed in the 75 thing.

  he was so disappointed and almost blamed everyone else why the end didn’t come.

  The big problem is that very old doctrine was never meant to last this long.

  my guess is at some point over the next few decades they will announce new light. They will probably do it gradually and the organisation will be unrecognisable compared to what it was a few decades ago.

  They clearly cannot be true. The stories don't make sense. They miss out the motivation and rationality of the enemies.

  Judges 16: 21 Then the Philistines seized him, gouged out his eyes and took him down to Gaza. Binding him with bronze shackles, they set him to grinding grain in the prison. 22 But the hair on his head began to grow again after it had been shaved.

  The Philistines seize Samson after he kills a thousand Philistines, put him in a labor camp prison, gouge out his eyes, and still forget to:

  4 Consider an example of Samson’s trust in Jehovah and of the support that God supplied. On one occasion, a Philistine military force had come to capture Samson at Lehi, evidently in Judah. The men of Judah were afraid, so they decided to hand Samson over to the enemy. Samson’s own people bound him securely with two new ropes and brought him to the Philistines. (Judg. 15:9-13) However, “Jehovah’s spirit empowered” Samson and he freed himself from the ropes. He then “found a fresh jawbone of a male donkey,” picked it up, and used it to strike down 1,000 Philistine men!​—Read Judges 15:14-16.

  5 Why did Samson use the jawbone of a donkey? It was an unconventional weapon, to say the least! No doubt Samson knew that his success depended on Jehovah, not on which weapon he used. Yes, this faithful man used what was available to him to accomplish Jehovah’s will. Clearly, as a result of his reliance on Jehovah, Samson was blessed with great success.

  
  

  The Bible story of Samson truly is a Hollywood production. He is handsome, falls in love with beautiful Delilah, his hair makes him strong beyond human capabilities, kills a lion with his bare hands, brings down Colosseum concrete supports that kills himself and many others, and kills 1000 military men with a jawbone.

  Ask yourself: Can one man really kill 1000 military men that are carrying swords, arrows, spears with brute numbers? Why didn't they throw their all their spears at him? Why didn't they surround him? Why didn't they attack him all at one time? How come Samson didn't get tired swinging the jawbone around?

  I think that the Bible had better story productions than today's Hollywood script writers!
